John is an architect, living and working in Reno, Nevada.  I see him at least once a year when we get together and ride by motorcycle over to Stead Field for the annual National Air Races. 

Roland is a psychopharmacologist and researcher who has been at Johns Hopkins for decades.  He is a world-renowned expert on caffiene, among other things.  I visited with Roland just last month (May '09) when he was up in Reno for a conference - it was a nice opportunity for me to get together with Roland and John B., both friends from Madera and our shared neighborhood.  Here they are at that gathering:
